Bio

Head Football Coach – Smyrna High School (TN)


Coach Williams has served as the Head Football Coach at Smyrna High School since 2008, bringing long-term stability, experience, and a proven record of player development to the program. Prior to becoming head coach, he was the Defensive Coordinator at Blackman High School from 2005–2007 and previously served as Defensive Coordinator at Smyrna High School in 2004, after serving as an Offensive and Defensive Line coach from 1998-2003. Throughout his career, Coach Williams has developed numerous student-athletes who have gone on to compete at the Division I level across Power Five, Group of Five, FCS, and Service Academy programs. His approach emphasizes discipline, accountability, and preparation both on the field and beyond football.


A native of Shelbyville, Tennessee, Coach Williams has a B.S. in History from Tennessee Wesleyan University and a Master Degree in Education Administration and Supervision from Middle Tennessee State University.
